Who is the creator God?

Hello dear friends,

I wanted to ask a few questions about Christian mystic world view. I almost got banned from one Christian Mystic discussion forum for expressing a sympathy for the Gnostic world view, which states that the material world is not a creation of the true God. I would appreciate your responses in order to better understand the subject and improve my belief system.

1. Is the true God the same as the creator God?

2. If the true God is the creator God, then why would there be a need to reunite with the God? It would mean we are already in God's kingdom.

3. If the true God is not the creator God, then who is the creator God? In that case, can the true God still help us while we are in this world?

I am both a mystic and a scientist, so I see no compelling evidence for a creator god.  However, as a mystic the spiritual dimension becomes accessible at the 5th stage of samadhi, and by the time one makes it to the 8th stage of samadhi one will know very well god at a depth no theologen will ever know.
