While I find this much better, so we can understand your "insights" better; nonetheless, I see some flaws in your thinking. I am certain when you become established in the 2nd jhana, which is the bliss of a still mind, we will find more cogency in your philosophy.
I'm glad you brought Islam into your exposition, because I have been certain for decades that Mohamed was certainly onto something when he formed the concept of the "8 gates of Islam," especially when those "gates" were called "Janna" using an ancient Arabic term, which appears in early Mesopotamian literature, which predates Buddhism by thousands of years, and since jhana and Janna are phonologically and theologically similar enough to suggest that these are shared concepts, and 50 years before Mohamed an arahat emerged in Sri Lanka claiming access to jhana and supported its significance, but was martyred by the Buddhist priesthood there, and trade between the Indian ocean and the Mediteranean, was very active at that time, suggests that Mohamed might have been aware of the uproar over the arahat in Sri Lanka.
I'm aware of Dante's poetry but I never got the impression that he was a mystic. But, I would like to be convinced otherwise. So, how about starting a thread under mystics arguing support for Dante?
