Thank-you, Alexander, for your kind support for a vehicle of support for the rigorous, fruitful contemplative, which the GWV aspires to be, In the last few years at least 3 of our most senior members have died, and I almost died 2 years ago. I am old now, and quite frail, so you all should not expect me to be here much longer.
Therefore, younger dedicated contemplatives, such as yourself, need to take over, if a dialog that supports rigorous, fruitful contemplatives is going to nurture generation after generation.
Yes, Alexander, there is always the concern that a dogmatic and hypocritical priesthood will one day take over the GWV. In fact it has done so in every religion that does not support the rigorous, fruitful contemplative. And, sadly, while there is clear evidence that most religions were started by rigorous, fruitful contemplatives; however, it is clear that most religions today have declined into a dogmatic and hypocritical priesthood. Therefore, keeping the GWV alive requires every generation to do the personal work to develop and maintain a dedicated, self-aware, fruitful, contemplative life, while supporting a community of such contemplatives.
So, I look forward to a community of dedicated, self-aware, fruitful, contemplatives working together here to further this work generation after generation.
