Well, I don't know the reason and I am not going to speculate. Whatever it is, it's over. :D
So, it stands to reason that they would be terrified of Sam, or any of us. This is one reason why I have no interest in going to Asia, other than to meet Sam.
Would love to meet all of you. I have every intention of going to America. That will be in the year 2018 tentatively as by then I would have gotten my flat. Hopefully, I would have some money for travel.

Since I'm unable to go because of my current studies, I'd love for Jhanananda and Sam to be able to meet, and I would gladly help in saving up to donate for that to happen :) I think it's important for GWV to have its message reach further places too.

I agree, bodhimind, and thank-you for offering to support the effort through donation. I suppose Sam and I could find ourselves in the same place, where others could join us in retreat, if there was sufficient financial support for it.
The meeting need not occur in the USA, as we have a group forming in Singapore, and Australia, so it could take place in that area. However, the largest number of followers of the GWV seems to be in the USA.
I have split the topic and moved it to our retreat section where it can be found easier, and find more readers, and thus more supporters.

I would feel bad if someone is to finance the trip. I do understand that most of us are really not financially well off and do not have much of a disposable income. Let it be, we'll meet when we meet.

It should be in the USA. Most members are from North America. That would be more practical. I've been to most part of the world but have never been to USA. It would be a wonderful opportunity.
