Greetings, All. I am Russ and I live in Brunswick, Ga. It is beautiful here on the coast this time of year and I am grateful for being added to the forum.
I became serious about meditation about ten years ago, but have not always been very regular in my practice. After coming across the Great Western Vehicle website, reading most of its content, and viewing many of Jhananda's videos I felt a strong pull to begin again with daily meditation.
I had never really been exposed to much teaching on the Jhanas, so I have a great deal to learn, but am eager to experience for myself what it is all about. Looking forward to joining in the discussions.

Welcome, Russ. I am so glad that you have joined us, and posted something about yourself.
If I do not respond in a timely fashion to any of posts to this forum, then all please know that my van has been dead for 2 weeks, or is it 3. And, it is likely to take me another week or two to bring it back to life. This inconvenience has made it difficult for me to keep up with my usual internet activities. So, please be patient.
