What is your opinion about exorcisms? What religions other than Catholicism also has exorcists?
Concepts parallel to exorcism occur in mysticism and shamanism throughout the world, so it is not just a Christian concept; however, the idea comes from a deeply flawed understanding of the spiritual dimension, and psychiatry. So, I do not advocate for the practice. Instead I advocate for people learning to meditate deeply, and shed their craving and covetousness for the material world.
