Even though Jesus Christ was not born on December 25, and it was just a Pagan holiday in celebration of the winter solstice, which the Greco/Roman Christians appropriated for their own purposes, I am, nonetheless, OK with it, because appropriation, subversion, obfuscation and mystification is the name of the game in religion, therefore Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year to all; however you look at this time of year.
