I have been listening to the music of Alison Krauss (http://alisonkrauss.com/) for about 20 years. Krauss is best known for her gospels and spirituals.
The music video Down in the River to Pray (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1FQqSGxBso&list=PLWdZZ7dWwOE-SyoMBfFwoKMGKJq8bhryI) by Alison Krauss is accompanied by an equally remarkable video by William Haun of rivers and water falls and bird life in the Amazon. I found this particular video so uplifting that I often watch it over, and over again.
Another song she is known for is Teardrops Will Kiss the Morning Dew (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWTJJnHAIg4&list=PLWdZZ7dWwOE-SyoMBfFwoKMGKJq8bhryI) - Alison Krauss. It is a love song. I like love songs, but for me it is not about human love, but about divine love. Love songs remind me of the love that pervades the heavenly domains.
