This thread is for discussing camping gear to help the community develop a system that makes wilderness retreats accessible to all of those who aspire to meditate deeply.

Whiles searching Google for nestable camping cookware for the next GWV wilderness retreat, I found Magma Marine 7 Piece Stainless Steel Nesting Cookware (http://www.wholesalemarine.com/magma-marine-7-piece-stainless-steel-nesting-cookware.html?gclid=CjgKEAjw-6WcBRCsgNjFy-2OuGYSJADf4R2spLg0vtKPIgblZ6_aw3L6BeJcgqHyi8QJ0J48Rhr5e_D_BwE) Price $118.79, seems very reasonable.

I own an old complete Coleman nestable camping cookware set, but Coleman no longer makes it.  I have used this set for about 30 years, and it has been a companion on most of the GWV's wilderness retreats.  I am not as happy with the new Coleman nestable cook set (http://Coleman Family Cook Set), but the price is right $29.

Recent donations to the GWV allowed me to purchase a Kelly Kettle (http://www.kellykettleusa.com/large-kelly-kettle-complete-kit.html) last month.  I have been using it every day to heat water for my morning hot drink.  Above I am using my modified hobo stove to burn the previous day's paper trash while heating water in my Kelly Kettle.  The Kelly Kettle has turned out to be a great addition to my camping gear kit.

Here I am using the Kelly Kettle hobo stove option (http://www.kellykettleusa.com/accessories/hobo-stove-large.html) that is available from Kelly Kettle to cook food in one of my nestable Coleman pots.

I also recently purchased the Kelly Kettle nestable cups (http://www.kellykettleusa.com/camp-cups-stainless.html) ($21.99), and titanium spork (http://www.kellykettleusa.com/camping-gear/spork-original-titanium.html) $13.99. I thought both accessories were reasonably priced and the cups nested inside the Kelly Kettle pot that nests inside the Kelly Kettle.  The spork was bent into an S shape, but titanium is easily bent, so I bent it into a C shape so that it would nest with the cups inside the Kelly Kettle pot.
