I have found that I need to define my terms, because each religion has its own biased use of terminology.
The definition of 'religion' that I subscribe to is a system of philosophy, beliefs, practices and social behavior that is characterized by ideas of the supernatural and an existence beyond death.
The definition of ‘priest’ that I subscribe to is a community of people who have been trained in a system of philosophy, beliefs, practices and social behavior that is characterized by ideas of the supernatural and an existence beyond death, whose profession it is to disseminate that system.
