My nephew came to live with me the last time I blog on here. His father is abusive and using him as an excuse to live free in my mother's house, among other things. Anyway, it's all well. He is 22 and still studying and I have to pay extra $50 rent.

I have been trying to get a job and it's so tough. I have decided to take up security. I have been to the course and I have just pass my course. Will apply for my license next week so that I can begin to work. Generally, it's a 12 hour shift but I do intend to take a part time job. Maybe a four or 5 days week so that I can focus on the things that are important. Money wise, I have sufficient for the time being. Hopefully be working by the 15th of this month.

Just started work today. I have been standing for more than 10 hours. My legs are killing me. Will be paid $90 for the work. Still have 4 more days to go. After which I will rest for a few days and get other jobs. Really, do not have time for other things. In a way, I do enjoyed it. Watching people in the supermarket. That's what I do watching people and get paid for it. LOL

Good to know that you got some work that works for you for now. Sorry to hear about the leg-pain from standing, but I can understand it.  I hope it works out for you.

Thanks Jeff. Well my leg and back is aching too. Humans are not meant to stand the whole day. LOL.
Met a friend from my Navy days yesterday and met an old friend in my teenage years. He is transgender  and officially a female in his ID. He offered to give me a $100  and I refused. I don't really need it and I am working. I ever appreciative and grateful for all these kind people and people here too. I am very grateful. Thank you!!!

Today is Friday 24th of June 2016. While going to work, I felt my right calf muscle tear. It was very painful but I still went to work. Manage to pull through the day without much pain but my calf was swollen. I will go and see a Chinese physician tomorrow and see how it goes. Have some jobs planned for next which would have to be canceled. Health wise, my blood sugar is normal around 100. All thanks to taking fenugreek. Fenugreek seeds are ground into powder and put into capsules.

I hope all the members of this forum is doing well too. Thank you.

Hello Sam

Something that may help your feet is to change shoes half way through the day if you can, from a low heel to a higher heel shoe. That will place all your joints in a slightly different position.

Stand on a rubber mat if possible, stand on grass, try and stay away from concrete if possible.

Sit on a stool if possible if not lean on something now and then to change position.

Hope you are well, Valdy

Thanks. I have thought about that. Impossible to change shoes as I was not assigned a locker but I wanted to buy an in-sole to elevate the heel area.

No such luxury. I work in a shopping complex and nothing of the sort that you mentioned exist.
I do lean on something from time to time and I do get to sit sometimes.

Thanks for the tips.

Sorry to hear about the health problem.  I hope that you can work through it.

...I wanted to buy an in-sole to elevate the heel area.

I used to make custom made inserts for athletes and individuals who had to stand for long hours.  They were known then as 'orthotics.'  I found they worked great.  I too had foot pain from all of the wlaking and standing that is related to field archaeology.  I found just adding a neoprene insert in my shoe made a huge difference in reducing foot pain.  So, perhaps you will find they will work for you as well.

Health wise, my blood sugar is normal around 100. All thanks to taking fenugreek. Fenugreek seeds are ground into powder and put into capsules.

This is useful to know.  I will track down Fenugreek seeds in capsules ASAP.  Thanks.

The body will heal in time.

As for fenugreek, I made the capsules myself. One bag of fenugreek cost me $4.50 and last for quite awhile. I don't take them often until now when I have to work. I took 5 capsules after each meal which is more paleo and no carbohydrates. Even protein turns to sugar. I do intermittent fasting as well for about 16 hours each day.

Telling you a bit of what I do, so that you can have a slight understanding. Will try the products you mentioned. Hope you are well as well.

I just got off from work and now in my room typing this. Work is good and busy but it leaves me not much time for meditation. I now work at Australian International School. It's not too bad except for the facility manager who is in charge of us. He scold people for nothing. Worst of all he treats like dogs or slaves. I really can't be bothered with him as I know how to defend myself verbally and resourceful enough to counter his verbal assault. My colleague who is female is not so lucky. She seems to get the brunt of his scolding and screaming.

I've found a quote at the school. I've attached it here. Apparently the teacher's English needs to be polished. I've also attached a picture of myself in the school. Overall, I am fine, even though financially I am not stable yet. Still catching up on some bills. Hopefully, it can be done by next month. I hope all of you are fine and I love you all. Be peaceful and in bliss.

The struggle of mystics in every culture, and in every age, is the same.  We are always marginalized, and we never fit in to the herd.  So, I am sorry to read of your difficulties, but I am well aware of the the same problems here in the USA.
