April 18th my morning blood sugar readings were as follows:

7 AM: 128
8 Am: 197
9 AM: 250

My exceptionally high blood sugar measurement today is partly due to being in the middle of moving, I was actually driving my truck with a load to the next warehouse space.  I also had neglected to bring a can opener to open cans of olives, which I have found are an excellent low carb food, so I ended up eating several protein and/or health/granola bars that I had gotten from the food bank.  It was an experiment to see if all I needed to do was eat something when the body gets hungry.  The answer is, No.  Whatever I eat has to be low carb.
