Things like this just make me feel depressed: since they force me to confront how fatal and doomed the situation is for most people. For them, there is no liberation...

Hmm, youre right, perhaps its not a good idea to point these things out like this.

Sadly, someone who meditates as deeply as any of us would not be welcome on the list of Certified Meditation & Mindfulness Teachers, because we all meditate more deeply than any of them.

I find posts like these to be very encouraging:

1. I had felt that these things were not the bees knees, but I had too much fake humility I learned in the Buddhist community to say anything.

2. We found a community of great teachers.

3. Most people here are here because the other communities were not right for them.

4. Knowing what we know, we can be better teachers for people.

It is good to read a message from you, follinge.  Most of us start as devotees of one religion or another, but if we are sincere, then we take up a contemplative life, and we start to unpack our belief systems, along the way we find mainstream religion is more often deeply wrong than it is right, so we get marginalized for realizing that, and leading a contemplative life.  So, we stay apart from the maddening crowd, and, if we are lucky, then we find a few like minded mystics, which is what the forum is all about.  It is good to have your company.
