Were ur initial oobes like this ? I still cant separate.. Neither its happening thru meditation yet. Still needing sleep. :/

Yes, in the beginning I had no control over my OOBEs.

And yeah i dont knw what with the restless legs,, if im wide awake  during practice, that starts happening after an hour or so of practice while lying down. Its been happening for over an year now, that i wake up several times during the night. I still need to hit the balance between sleep n meditation so as to achieve oobe. Is this restlessness common things that happens to everyone ? Is it somehow related to the duration of session we can do in sitting position? Cause i feel that need to get up, to the end sit cud bring that restless in my legs if they were outstretched..which is the case while practicing lying down. Have u gone thru this as well Jhananada?

Yes, most of us need to work through the restlessness.  I found learning to relax deeply, and a radical change in lifestyle to reduce stress, helped me to dispense with restlessness.

Hello,
I wanted to update on my progress, well it feels all the same, i still cant separate.
I lay down after meditation in the morning and then pull my consciousness upto third eye chakra in semi conscious state and open my astral eyes. I can still feel my legs and hands floating sometimes but rest of the body feels like dead weight. even after struggling (in real sense) i cant get my astral body up.
And yeah im able to get into oobe sometimes 4,5 times back to back. And its happening everyday almost since 40days.

Shall i keep doing it the way i have been or shall i change the way i focus in meditation, i mostly switch between focus on numb body and light behind my closed eyes. Sometimes i feel im doing it wrong cause i cant get my astral body away from physical.
Any ideas? Anyone
Thanks

Needs more kundalini cleansing to build the etheric double I think. Longer hours of contemplative practice.

Longer hours of contemplative practice.

I agree here, because in my experience depth in meditation just requires practice.

Yes, I have been consistently going into the arupa jhanas since 1974.
