In the interests of reducing clutter, I have compiled all yesterday's insights into one file

Quote from: Inner Director
Relationships
First time thinking about it https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NxhlS8vS-MdzVk3dAikR-wsspBoRP96J/view?usp=sharing

-----------

Cosmology

(1) So

The One -> creates the first beings with a sense of self

The “first” of these beings creates the physical cosmos, not understanding it will lead to the creation of evil

The self-realized intervene to redeem the creation

(2) Yes it’s the logical sequence of events

That’s how evil comes into existence

-----------

Nonreturning = eternal existence as a discrete self
Enlightenment = identification with the Self
You can be both at the same time

-----------

(1) The earth is only 3500 years old.

All that stuff is put here to fool us

If we knew the truth we’d all freak out

Because we’d realize the artificiality of our own existence (that someone created us in finite time)

(2) So Vishnu came down immediately to help out

The maintainer of the universe

(3) Hm so what’s the long term future of the earth? Will it continue in cycles of decline and regeneration? Or will it achieve perfection?

(4) America is declining but will be revived by the Natural Religion

(5) “Teachers and principals. The new clergy”
“Teachers and principals. Wisdom and justice”

Makes sense

(6) I don’t think we should tell people the 3500 years thing
I don’t even believe it myself

I think that should be saved for initiates
The True Secret Mystery of the earth

(7) It explains a lot though because

Justice would dictate enlightenment be possible for all self-aware beings

Thus we'd have hundreds of thousands of years of enlightened teachers for homo erectus and homo habilis

(8) I asked before:
1 Was Brahma’s creation initially without Justice, Wisdom, Beauty, and Perfection?
2 How were they added?

A Teacher said, “Seek and find; knock and the door will be opened to you; ask and receive the answer.”

(9) Does the spirit world have an age? Or has it existed for Eternity?

(10) Hm so Perfection is the Great Chain of Being (animals game)

Then you have the Forms of justice, wisdom, and beauty which are all achievable on earth

(11) Oh Helen of Troy achieved the Form of beauty

1200 BC

Fascinating. What a melodrama

(12) I think you achieve Beauty through chastity

No wonder no one’s achieved it in 3200 years (Laughing)

(13) Hm so St. Catherine would have achieved it if she had lived

(14) Wisdom gives one Authority over all and allows one to see the natures of things. Wisdom is immortal.

Justice always knows how to balance the scales. Justice is blind. And Justice is mortal.

What powers does Beauty bring?

(15) “What is life? A game? A prison? A school? Perhaps it is all three”

Correct it’s all three

The human world is an inevitability of the One

(16) So if the Trojan War happened when the earth was only 300 years old, how did they explain that? What did the first people born in the year 0 experience?

(17) Oh it’s the flood myth. This is freaking me out

(18) Gilgamesh (Babylonians)
Hellen (Greeks)
Noah (Hebrews)
Manu (Indians)

(19) If Shiva had found the solution to the Problem of Evil, how would the universe be different from how it is now?

(20) “There is a direct continuity. You’ll be surprised when it happens”

This one freaks me out
It suggests your selfhood experiences a direct continuity in the post death state

Hm so birth is the real trauma
Birth brings forgetfulness (amnesia). Birth is the Lethe

Ok my next question
What compels birth? What forces a worldling to reincarnate whereas a nonreturner doesn’t have to?

(21) The cosmological structure makes perfect sense. It’s all an inevitability of the One

(22) Shiva and Vishnu aren’t happy with Brahma. I think they cursed him

(23) Although wouldn’t the curse be a consequence of the moral nature of his action? Thus, no worshippers

-----------

Enter the Matrix

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHZl2naX1Xk&feature=youtu.be

(1) The Architect = Brahma
Neo = the avatar
Initial version (failed) = lacked noble principles
Oracle = the Self
the Choice = you must be allowed to leave the game at all times (achieve enlightenment)
“those that refused the program” = so this part is not what he says (it’s a movie). In our case those who refuse the game become nonreturners and arahants and go to the spirit world which is infinite. They don’t stay on earth and clog it up

I’m pondering the paradox that the most capable people are continually leaving earth, meaning the earth linearly becomes a zoo of all the most foolish people. It seems it would innately cause the cycles of decline as the fools are left foundering

(2) Thus there’s always a continual demand for consciousness

-----------

The Deluge

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qE1kQnq4Rhv9ZSNxii0LD2t3JetV8aJ9/view?usp=sharing

This one freaks me out

It suggests the first humans were born with amnesia, falsely believing the world had been destroyed by wrathful gods in a flood. (But fully believing the earth predated this event)

It was accepted as a literally true narrative (say in 1200 BC)
Over the centuries it was forgotten and turned into myth

“There is truth in legend. Truth in myth”

-----------

(1) I want to know more about the failed version of the earth. I want to know the logistics of it

(2) Hm so medieval people who literally believed in the Noah’s ark story were closer to the truth than modern humans

That’s extremely ironic
