Aloha to you Jeffrey,
Here's a link to some folks working to bring the realms into
a closer relationship. I studied some of their info, of course
taking what interested me and reserved judgement on the
rest. I am interested in what your opinions would be.

Well, under threat of character assassination for exposing one more fraud, should I just remind you that we "know a tree by its fruit" (Luke 6:44). I believe this term was used by Jesus with a double meaning. It was certainly used by him as a metaphor to indicate that there are spiritual frauds whom we should avoid, and we know them by the rotten fruit of hypocrisy, corruption, etc. The second meaning that I believe was intended by Jesus was the attainment of the spiritual fruit that Patanjali and Siddhartha Gautama described in their sutras.
So, this organization sells OOBE attainment for a price. There does not seem to be anything in their literature to suggest that they have any interest at all in the contemplative life, or ethics, nor a description of other "fruit." So, what do you think?
This reminds me of Theravadan Buddhism. They harp upon insight (vipassana), but there is nothing in their literature to suggest that they understand insight as intuitive and revelatory. Instead they think insight is mindfulness. So, OK, assassinate my character for pointing out how all mainstream religions are frauds; and some, maybe most, fringe religious movements are also frauds.
Arizona keeps coming into my life. My daughter and her family moved to
Goodyear, north of Phoenix, recently. Now she tells me my first wife is
retiring to Prescott. So it goes.
Later,
Kimo
Funny. My second ex-wife retired to Prescott, that is how I ended up their, because I wanted to visit my son who was living there at the time, and my engine failed due to a failed fuels experiment. I ended up there for 2 years. It is a nice town with a hometown feel that they consciously cultivate.
