Healing and the OBE state!
« on: January 15, 2013, 09:30:54 AM »
Hello all,

So... recently I've come across folks who say they heal various
illness that they have,  while in the OBE state.

How??? Apparently they exit their physical body, then instead
of flying off, they do self massage on and "in" their astral body.
Why does it work? Because most all healing is actually done
by the body.  Doctors really just usually point the way. I'm
talking really deep massage here. All the reasons massage
work in the physical, apparently work in the astral and the
results happen "in both bodies at the same time."

Apparently it only works on the person who is actually doing
the OBE, Also it takes more than  once to fully heal.

Horsepucky you say !! Try it, when you can. Also...it seems
to work especially well on arthritis and joint issues.
Party on,
Kimo

Hello Kimo, yes, healing has been a regular feature of my OOBEs for the last 40 years that I can recall.  Most of the time the healing is not mechanical, as in a massage, but energy healing, where I move energy channels, like acupuncture meridians around, or I travel through the meridian system energizing it.

So far OOBE based energy healing has not resulted in radical healing, as I still have diabetes, and arthritis, but I have observed over all improved health from OOBE healing.

For one to become an OOBE healer, one will have to become skilled at the OOBE, which requires becoming a skilled contemplative.

Aloha to you Jeffrey,

Here's a link to some folks working to bring the realms into
a closer relationship. I studied some of their info, of course
taking what interested me and reserved  judgement on the
rest. I am interested in what your opinions would be.

Arizona keeps coming into my life. My daughter and her family moved to
Goodyear, north of Phoenix, recently. Now she tells me my first wife is
retiring to Prescott. So it goes.
Later,
Kimo

Well, under threat of character assassination for exposing one more fraud, should I just remind you that we "know a tree by its fruit" (Luke 6:44).  I believe this term was used by Jesus with a double meaning.  It was certainly used by him as a metaphor to indicate that there are spiritual frauds whom we should avoid, and we know them by the rotten fruit of hypocrisy, corruption, etc.  The second meaning that I believe was intended by Jesus was the attainment of the spiritual fruit that Patanjali and Siddhartha Gautama described in their sutras.

So, this organization sells OOBE attainment for a price.  There does not seem to be anything in their literature to suggest that they have any interest at all in the contemplative life, or ethics, nor a description of other "fruit."  So, what do you think?

This reminds me of Theravadan Buddhism.  They harp upon insight (vipassana), but there is nothing in their literature to suggest that they understand insight as intuitive and revelatory.  Instead they think insight is mindfulness.  So, OK, assassinate my character for pointing out how all mainstream religions are frauds; and some, maybe most, fringe religious movements are also frauds.

Funny.  My second ex-wife retired to Prescott, that is how I ended up their, because I wanted to visit my son who was living there at the time, and my engine failed due to a failed fuels experiment.  I ended up there for 2 years.  It is a nice town with a hometown feel that they consciously cultivate.

Ha ha ho ho hee!!! Well spoken Jeffrey! Actually, over the years, I've come
to rely upon your realistic viewpoint. Plus, in spite of your detractors, you
have not allowed yourself to go to bitterness about the underbelly of
known existence, bravo! Personally, I believe heaven/hell exist simultaneously
and its the mark of a superior traveler who can see it all, yet still keep
their free choice intact.

I'm curious Jeffrey, if you have plans for a biography? A successful book would
create a revenue stream for now, as well could be set up as a ongoing
support for the GWV.  Online books have reached the top selling list now,
so.....!

Thanks, Kimo, I knew I could depend upon you keeping your sense of humor in the face of my critical review of your latest OOBE group.  Yes, books have been in the works for decades.  I suppose I should finish one, and get it out there, because you are right, I could use a money stream.
