Hello,

I got a lot of out of the book "Stripping the Gurus" by Geoffrey D. Falk.  (http://www.strippingthegurus.com/ebook/download.asp) This book first helped me "unpack" Chogyam Trungpa.  It seemed in tone with the discussion in this area of the forum.  I noticed that the electronic version was for free distribution, so I thought perhaps it should be added to the resources of the GWV.

Sure, sounds good to me, if it helps people with their critical thinking.  However, I am reminded that most of the comments about me on the WWW are quite offensive, and are completely groundless, so one needs to keep in mind that some people just get a lot of mileage out of character assassination.  It might be useful to unpack the authors, such as Rick Ros, and Geoffrey D. Falk.  Perhaps they are born-again Christians just trying to dismantle the contemplative movement, not that the contemplative movement is not its own worst enemy, when they mob frauds, and ignore genuine contemplatives.

That's a good point Jeffrey.  I should not be so quick to assume someone is being accurate, especially if they are criticizing others.  The only chapter I really researched was the one on Chogyam Trungpa which turned out to be more than accurate--if anything this book made him sound quite a bit better.  But innocent until proven guilty and all that.  Anyway, I did find it to be a helpful consumer information guide or at least a jumping off point.
