Into Great Silence

Really beautiful movie about the contemplative life. By a Bavarian filmmaker who immerses himself in the world of French Carthusian monks.

Thank-you aglorincz, I enjoyed watching the contemplative movie.  Interesting cinematography, but both movies reminded me the stuff of religion is not where the silence is.  The religious experience is not in the stuff of religion, nor is it the silence, but it is within the silence.

Have any of you seen the Gerard Depardieu movie 'Tous les matins du monde 1991 Marin Marais'?  The music is haunting, and the aspiration revealed in the movie is noble, not too much obsession over the stuff of religion.
