Yup, mhm  ;D

That is very interesting you had an opioid addiction, and yet prefer the external tactile presence over the internal.

As an aside; I owe you gratitude for making me more aware of the "aura." It's like a comfort blanket. Combined with the internal tactile, I have found it to be a powerful refuge.
I've never thought of anything as "refuge" (ego).

What do you mean by this? Are you implying that "taking a refuge" is egoic?

I am implying that resisting taking refuge is egoic. "I do not need refuge" is egoic...

Please forgive me for using what I write as a tool for reflection, I can do it in private, if you'd like? I meant no offense. I read what I write here often to reflect on that moment. I try to discern what I was feeling and if it was correct. I also read and re-read responses to do the same, yet how the other was feeling, or what was truly being said and that the perception of it at the time wasnt skewed by something. Im finding it a great tool in refinement...Im sorry if ive offended.

Central to the fruitful contemplative life is self-reflection.  Thus a significant part of what goes on here is expected to be self-reflective.  Therefore you using this forum for self-reflection, is precisely what is expected, and encouraged.

Only a question in search of understanding what you meant, friend. I took no offense.
