Regardless of one's past one can become inspired to follow the dhamma.  Thus, as long as one follows the Buddhist monastic precepts of a monk, then one can be a Buddhist monk.  Any branch of Buddhism that is unwilling to allow such a conversion, for a sincere seeker, proves not to be worthy of the sangha.

I hope to post more of these kind of videos. I have no opinion whatsoever. My only opinion is that everyone can do it regardless if they are LGBT, murderers or rapist. Doesn't really matter as long as one is sincere for the truth.  ;D
