Welcome PJ, and thanks for posting some useful information.  On an older forum we spent quite some time examining hums around the world, such as the Taos hum.  People would rather believe aliens, are a government conspiracy is at work before they will believe that they are actually hearing the immaterial dimensions, or what the suttas call 'jhana-nimitta', and what the bible calls the holy spirit.

I remember learning about this and other phenomena around 2012. Everything makes much more sense since coming into the material of GWV. Wait, but then that means the whole "Ascension 2012" movement was credible?

The problem with such "prophetic" movements is none of their material makes sense.  There is no "change" in the frequency, and the frequency of charismatic sound is non-physical, therefore it has no influence upon the physical reality.  The sounds that mystics hear, have been reported by mystics since the advent of literature.
