The valuable contributions that the GWV has made and wishes to continue to provide:
1) The GWV is the only religious movement that we know of today that provides a cogent and logically true philosophical system that does not depend upon deeply flawed translations of ancient religious literature.
2) We have demonstrated that all of the Pali-to-English dictionaries are deeply flawed. Thus, if the GWV had more funding then we could work full-time upon an improved Pali-to-English dictionary, otherwise the work progresses slowly.
3) We have demonstrated that all of the translations of the Pali Canon are deeply flawed. Thus, if the GWV had more funding then we could work full-time upon an improved translations of the Pali Canon.
4) We have demonstrated that all of the translations of the Yoga Sutras are deeply flawed. Thus, if the GWV had more funding then we could work full-time upon an improved translation of the Yoga Sutras.
5) We have demonstrated that all of the translations of the Bible are deeply flawed. Thus, if the GWV had more funding then we could work full-time upon an improved translation of the Bible.
6) We have demonstrated that all of the translations of the Christian Gospels are deeply flawed. Thus, if the GWV had more funding then we could work full-time upon an improved translation of the Christian Gospels.
7) The GWV is the only religious movement that we know of that provides a free service for interpreting and contextualizing religious/meditation experiences within the context of the mystics of the major religions.
Future services of the GWV
1] With financial support the GWV would like to publish its existing works so that there is a record in print of our work describing the religious/meditation experience within a cross-cultural and interreligious context.
2] With financial support the GWV would like to publish its existing works on Buddhist and other religious commentaries.
3] With financial support the GWV would like to publish its existing works on Buddhist and other religious criticism.
4] With financial support the GWV would like to provide an improved Pali-to-English dictionary
5] With financial support the GWV would like to provide a complete re-translation of the Sutta Pitaka of the Pali Canon
6] With financial support the GWV would like to provide a complete re-translation of the Bible
7] With financial support the GWV would like to provide a complete re-translation of the Christian Gospels.
8] With financial support the GWV would like to provide one or more urban practice centers where people are instructed in how to lead a rigorous, ethical, discipline, self-aware contemplative life; and where a daily meditation sit schedule is maintained by a resident meditation teacher who has genuine attainment; and who leads by example a rigorous, ethical, discipline, self-aware contemplative life.
9] With financial support the GWV would like to provide one or more retreat centers where people are instructed in how to lead a rigorous, ethical, discipline, self-aware contemplative life; and where they are welcome to have a religious/meditation experience; and where they are safe to have such experiences; and they will find a meditation teacher who has those experiences and can provide a context for those experiences from his or her personal experience, as well as from an interreligious context.
10] With financial support the GWV would like to provide one or more libraries where the literature of the enlightened will be preserved and available for study by future scholars and mystics. These libraries are likely to be within one ore more of the urban practice centers and retreat centers.
11] With financial support the GWV would like to build one or more guide stone-like monuments where the core principles presented by every mystic are etched into stone, so that these instructions can remain legible for millennia, as long as they are not intentionally defaced, or dismantled; where a time capsule can by installed to preserve the writing of the major mystics, on archival paper with archival inks, in the original language, and in proper translation; which means these guide stone-like monuments with time capsules would be best built in association with the WVO urban practice centers, retreat centers and libraries; and installed on every continent, so that, even if there was a future organized effort to destroy the practice-leads-to-attainment model of the GWV, then it is unlikely that such a concerted effort could dismantle all of the guide stone-like monuments with time capsules.
