"Inner Voice/Intuition" and Cursing During Teaching
« on: September 03, 2014, 03:19:43 PM »
I've been cursing a lot lately. Strangely, with the exception of that strange period I just went through where it was happening everywhere, I curse most often during teaching people. And the cursing didn't begin until I went through this strange period--right after I began teaching intensively.

And, there is a definite difference between "me" in normal conversation, and "me" during teaching. In teaching, I have this intuition, this inner voice and guidance that isn't "me." I'm not teaching, "It" is. It just flows. I step aside. And sometimes it curses, and because I don't filter this inner voice that comes out during teaching--because doing so would discourage it and its efficacy--I end up cursing often.

Does anyone else experience either this "inner voice" shift during teaching others, or cursing?

It is worth noting to people unaware of St. Teresa, that she was apparently the "Patron Saint of Foul Language" which I was just reminded of by Jhananda in one of his videos (Skillful Mystic II)

Also, as an aside which was produced during a conversation. We were talking about the booklet I'm attempting to write for the GWV, and I was mentioning how it seems I should merely use the content of what I teach, because as stated above, it is far more efficacious than anything I've posted on the forum. For some reason, it has to be real-time, one on one, and complete devotion by the "student." Although we are both learning, on the surface it looks like "I" am teaching.

I said "But, I'm not teaching anyone right now. Most people make a breakthrough, and during that period I can teach them. Then their ego begins to reform in a very deceptive way. It's in the shadows. They don't realize it changed. And then I can't teach anymore" Anyone else also noticed this mechanic?

I do believe one can only teach them the technique and the rest is just guidance. I taught quite a few people to meditate. I can read their thoughts as well. Sometimes, I just unwittingly say out their thoughts and cause quite a shock to them. I always keep quiet. I also believe that "intuition" is what I would call the knowing. You just know. Simple as that.

Jhanon, glad that you are emotionally quite stable now. Do keep up the good work for yourself and others. Thank you very much.

That is something I can relate to! Jhanon, unwittingly does the same with me. Yet I've been aware of it for sometime now and throw him curve balls lol. I joke yet this post makes me happy. It's hard learning these things are actually possible.

On another note, I have been noticing distinctions between the members here. All of you carry a different yet very similar intensity. I do not only mean in your words...over the last few weeks, at different times, I've felt as if some of you were "present". Again, I'm learning this, yet I will say that kundalini intensity is what I'm using to describe the intenseness. Direction in this is not needed, however I do feel as though I am "going off the deep end" a lot lately.

Yes, that is more appropriately worded. It is just guidance, but "I" learn at the same time whenever "I" guide. And yes, I would also call it the 'knowing'. I use terms very interchangeably, because I do not want anyone finding something I say through a Google search to think this is specific to one spiritual teaching or teacher.

I am a little bit surprised you were following that, gandarloda. I never did post how it culminated, but it was more satisfying than anything, eventually ending with intense healing, revelation, and kundalini! :)

I do wish I talked less. I talk too much. I've always talked too much. Or, rather, it seems like I shouldn't be talking so much. That it is detrimental. But nonetheless, I think it serves a purpose to attract people who are not the shining image of Buddha--lol. If you catch my meaning.

Actually, I follow every thread and dialogue. Most of the time Jeff will answer them. I seldom reply to any threads as my English is not good enough to make others to understand me better. I am Chinese.

Most time, I let people rant and rave to let their sufferings be diminished. I also observe their "actions" in writing, so that I can understand them better.

One of the reasons I keep tabs on all post is that I am also a moderator here. So, do behave.... LOL

I see. For what it is worth, I think your English is pretty good. I appreciate you keeping tabs and moderating, and for offering vision into your awareness.
