Instructive Videos
« on: September 05, 2014, 10:46:24 PM »
A few weeks ago I was working on a video for my companion as a gift. Women tend to enjoy letter or words of love. There was just one problem. I got taken over by kundalini/inspiration. I worked for three straight days. I had never used the program before, but had made videos in the past. After I had sent it, I realized it barely resembled the letter I wrote and intended to turn into a video.

The video was so powerful, it makes tears come to my eyes everytime. It was more about milestones of kundalini and the Path.

I have a little bit of free time right now. Perhaps I can make a meditation slideshow video, using the booklet "Ecstatic Meditation" as inspiration. Then I will make it available on YouTube.

Thoughts or insights if any?

You're thinking to essentially make a video intended to produce ecstatic meditation? Hmm maybe we can get together and test out some verbal "catnip" ideas. Inductive, provocative. Meh idk :-X

I've already been shown how to do the entire video. What song to use. How to transition from step to step. How to maximize likelihood of spiritual experience. I just need sign off from others, or the expression of any concerns I may have overlooked.

Sounds good to me.  Please post a link to your video here for us all to see it.

Accessing the Ecstasies

http://youtu.be/G3lt0YaFLw8

Feedback is welcome. This video is unlisted at the moment (it can only be accessed from here.) It will be made public within the next few days unless any objections or suggestions are made. I do need to know if any legalities must be addressed, such as copyright. Also, if it would be better to link the viewer to additional resources like the "Accessing the Ecstasies" booklet thread, and the "Case Histories", or if I should create copyrighted PDF versions.

There are some "shaky view" issues I'm remedying at the moment--so don't let them bother you if they are still there when you watch it. I continue to have ideas how I can improve this, but I keep being told by conscience "this is enough." So, perhaps I will just leave it as is.

I would love to see you in the video, Jhanon. At one point I thought about making something like this myself... then I realized I had fulfilled my duty for this through my writing.

I would also love to see Jeffrey make a video on the spiritual realm at some point!

I enjoyed your video very much.  I think if you give them links to the GWV website and forum, as well as answer questions for them, then that should be enough.

Okay. I forgot to link the main site and forum. But I've got the case histories and booklet draft linked.

I have softer music I could use, but it has less emotional opening capacity. "Warm" by Eluvium. I wanted to avoid new age sound as much as possible, and simplify it for even the newest to spiritual terminology.

Perhaps I will "star" in something in the future. For the time being, I prefer to maintain anonymity for sake of my practice. And yes, I agree it is your writing that is your contribution. I'm probably more of a workhorse as I'm not particularly talented in anything specific. More of a mediator.

Nicely done, Jhanon. I think it was an excellent choice of music and certainly fulfilled its purpose in aiding the video exponentially.

Well done, Jhanon. Your choice of music was impeccable. Maybe you could add some visuals for added depth?

Thank you, Michel. I had an intuition to add "the pearl" glowing and slowly growing in the blank periods, but I am unsure how to best do that. Other than that, I have concern that too much visual will take away from the likelihood of accessing kundalini rushes. That is also the reason for the blank periods.

We're trying to have the viewer detach from physical phenomena and tap into non-physical, so I have concern that unneeded visuals will hamper the likelihood by causing clinging. The music was necessary because it can open and elevate the heart which increases likelihood of accessing the ecstasies IN THE CASE OF NEWCOMERS. Set and setting and all that. But, with all that in mind, what are your thoughts?

As a side concern, does it seem like I am being argumentative when I state my reasoning like this? I am finding others will refrain from offering their view when I offer my reasoning and ask for their view. I do this as a way to show my reasoning and basically ask "do you have reasoning that is superior? Will you please show me?" And it's because I consider us a team. I don't want to be right. I want the best possible result for the good of others.

Go with your intuition.

Not at all. I don't think you're being argumentative. We all have unique perspectives to offer. We are a team in this respect. We are not against each other. We are here to help one another along the path. We park are egos at the door when we post on this forum, that is those of us who have an ego to park. LOL!
